Obama: Health Insurance is a ‘Right,’ Not a Privilege Read Latest

President Barack Obama said “health insurance isn’t a privilege — it is your right,” and slammed Republicans, saying they are more concerned about how the debate will hurt them politically than they are with how denying Obamacare will hurt the country.
“There’s also a group of Republicans in Congress working hard to confuse people and making empty promises that they’ll either shut down the healthcare law, or if they don’t get their way, they’ll shut down the government,” Obama said in his weekly address Saturday.

EDITOR COMMENTS: I’ve read the Constitution and I never saw that. I do think having health care is a great thing to have but it is NOT a right – period. If you get a job that provides it, great. Or if you get a job where you can pay for it yourself, great. And think about this. How many people are turned away from an emergency room because they did not have insurance for an emergency? No I do not know the number but what I can tell you is that I know personally that many go to the emergency rooms for things and get care all the time and they have NO INSURANCE.

QUICK ADDITION: Just in that illegal aliens are not protecting that they want the Government to pay for their organ transplants. And the Governments money comes from where – TAXPAYERS !!!!
