Send your life to a whole new level! Zip up the negative words and start speaking faith and victory into your future.
I never got into these motivational quotes or speakers. Yes they may make you think, yes some are pretty good and yes some are even “cute”. We had these signs hanging in the halls at the reserve center. “YOU CAN DO IT” – “TEAMWORK”, etc, etc. We had this special tag to keep in our wallet and another to wear with our dog tags. If we had an inspection we had make sure we had these on our person. But why? Are people so weak these days that they need some fancy saying to help them be motivated? The dog tags we had to wear was to keep us motivated. I did not think they serves a purpose other than another way to spend tax $$$.
I used to listen to a preacher named Joel Olsten. As I listened to him week after week I came to the conclusion he is a great motivational type preacher/speaker. All he said was the same thing over and over just using different words. He was all about you can do it, love is the answer, you’re a good person. Is that a bad thing? No. But not everyone is a good person. Love is not always the answer. Not saying hate is either but sometimes justice is and depending on the persons action, justice can be bad for the bad person. NOTE: I have nothing against Joel Olsten. He seems like a great guy with a great following is is probably helping a lot of depressed and weak people that need the pep talk. This is good for some.
In closing, I personally do not need some quote put on my screen to have a great day. Life is truly wonderful for me almost all the time. Yes I said almost. And I am glad for the bad days because with no bad days, how will you ever know what a great day really is? So when a terrible day comes along, gets you down, you feel pain, depression, or just feel like the weight of the world is on you. Guess what, it is but tomorrow is a new day, next week is a new week, next year is a new year. Time passes and so does pain. So in the end thank God for those crappy days, don’t look for some motivational catch phrase or line. Look at the crappy days as proof that great days are truly great.
