Tipper is going down hill rather quickly these past few days. She has gone from doing a rather fast morning walks, acting like she wants to play, eating really good and being her normal pain in the butt self – to sleeping all the time, not eating, drinking very little and losing almost 2 pounds in a week.

She has only eaten two very small amounts of food in the past week (one she threw up). We have contacted the vet and he agrees that she is most likely giving up on living.

We lost Daisy Mae in 2011. We will most likely lose Tipper this week coming up, unless something changes. While being prepared as we can for this, it will still be a devastating time for us.

Tipper and her daddy are very close. I take her for her walks, out to potty any time she needs to go even at 3AM. Tipper and her mommy are just as close. Vera feeds her and ensures she has fresh food and water. When Tipper comes in from her walk she will get frantic if she can not find Vera.

Tipper is 18 yrs and 4 months as of December 3rd. Not sure if she will even make it that far. We never expected her to live for 18 years because several years ago (at about 14 yrs of age) we were told of her heart condition. She even passed out once and we thought she was dying that day a few years back. To our surprise she is a fighter and has fought a long fight to stay around a little longer. Guess all that good food, teeth cleanings, and medical care benefited to her long life. Protein builds strong muscles.

Daisy and Tipper have been a huge part of our lives when we had no family around at all. Wisconsin we had Tipper. We moved to Utah and got Daisy. If it were not for these two “best friends” we would have had a lot harder times dealing with being so far away. So to call either of them just dogs is not acceptable for us. When I was mobilized and almost sent to Iraq, Tipper & Daisy were there for Vera 24/7. Family could not do that because families have their own lives to live. Tipper & Daisy are family, fur-babies, 4 legged children of ours, friends, companions and lone more unconditionally than anyone can.

We already have the urn purchased for Tipper and arrangement for her to be cremated with Faithful Friends. When Tipper does pass we will be devastated, most likely cry for days. We did with Daisy – we will with Tipper.

For now, we wait – we watch – we provide care & comfort – we are there for her like she has been there for us. We meet her every need, not matter how small, no matter how large, no matter what cost. We will be there for her like she has been there for us for over 18 years of her precious life. As I write I cry. Maybe this is my therapy. We both love Tipper so much. Tipper depends on us for everything. Food, water, go potty, medical care for everything. To have something that needs you for their very existence is a tremendous burden to some, but for us has been a tremendous blessing and privilege.

Our future plans on pets are these: We have no intention of replacing Daisy and we have no intention to replace Tipper. They have/had their own totally different personalities. We plan to be pet free for a long long time. Yes, things change but we will make that decision if and when it becomes right for us. So please out of respect, do not tell us about a pet needing a home. We are animal lovers but the time has come to be pet free for awhile. Daisy nor Tipper can ever be “replaced” and will always hold very special places in our hearts and lives.

State-by-State requirement to inform law enforcement that you are carrying a weapon.

If you followed a previous article where we highlighted the plight of Brian Fletcher, there’s a big question looming as to whether or not you have a duty to inform law enforcement (or anyone) as to whether or not you are carrying without first being asked.

We take a state-by-state look at each state’s gun laws to find out who you have a duty to inform and when. This only applies to a person with the state’s designated version of a license or permit to carry a concealed firearm (or weapon, as the term applies) or granted reciprocity therein to do so.

We are not covering open carry.
We are not covering what happens if you are in violation of a crime.
We are covering if you are legally obliged to inform law enforcement as to your legal concealment of a firearm without first being asked.
If you are in a state where firearms registration is required as a condition to receive a permit, or are required to have a permit to acquire, or any of the other convoluted mechanisms prior to being a legal, concealed carrier in that state – this list assumes you have lawfully completed those conditions. So if you have not completed those processes, this list isn’t for you.
This article is written (and researched) from the perspective that if you are: Continue reading

Feeding Birds in the Winter & Welfare

I was looking out back watching the birds as they were eating the food I put out for them and strangely enough it made me think of all things – WELFARE.

Long before Welfare & food stamps, what did people do. They fended for themselves because the Gov was not there to “take care of them” Birds are the same was. If you stop putting out food for them, what happens? They go someplace else. They go find food such as bugs, and seeds in the woods, bugs in logs, in trees, in grass and they survive. The may actually get more nutritional food from mother nature than the processed seeds we provide for them.

So the bottom line is this. Are we he helping the birds by feeding them? Do they learn over time that “we put out & provide food” so they do not have to put forth effort to find their own? And if we did this for years and then stopped would they die? Long ago there was no welfare of food stamps. People (family, churches & towns) took care of those in need. i think that part of the problems we face today are because we have provided for peoples needs and even gone so far as to provide for their wants such as cell phones, internet, food stamps (where they can abuse the system & buy or trade them for other wants). Churches used to be relevant in our communities. No longer for many because what does the church offer for people needs. The Gov has taken on that role at the expense of the taxpayers, like it or not. Used to churches helped people out of the goodness of their peoples hearts. This actually helped many turn to God in tough times. Now they turn to  the Gov. Ever consider this? I have.

More Gov help = Less church involvement = less morality for many = more broken homes = more crime.

So as you feed the birds consider this.

Cop kills man at wedding & my comments on guns

In short – the cop did everything correctly here. That is based on what I see from the video. Having said that I am not here to judge every event that happens. The law enforcement personnel do a very tough job and have to make split second decision that may decide if they themselves live or die. To second guess them is not something I will do. I am not there to see all the behind the scenes items that happen around them, before or after that influences their split second decisions.

At a recent event we were having discussions on this and a few other topics to include guns. So lets start with a few topics and see where it goes. Please note that you can comment on this blog and I encourage you to do so. And yes if you get really nuts on me, your comment will NOT be posted. This is my blog so get over it. Now let’s get on with this.

1. GUNS & WHO SHOULD HAVE THEM & WHO SHOULD NOT: Some people feel the general public has no business with guns. Yes there are some out there who should not have a gun because of instability, mental incapacity, or maybe someone with no arms. But the physical incapacity I see a very limited inability on that one. Reason is I saw a video of a man with no arms shooting, loading the magazine and inserting & removing the mag along with cocking a 45 cal piston with his feet & toes. Now that was impressive. Here is the video: Man with no arms shooting a 45 .So before you think a man with no arms can not have a gun – think again. Mental abilities may limit someone as well. And then there are the criminals. Lets get into that area. Criminals vs law-abiding citizens. You do understand that a criminal does not respect or intend to follow the laws (we know this because they have broken them in the past and that is why they are now criminals) So passing more and more laws to stop criminals is going to work? I think not. Some feel we do not need guns at all. The 2nd Amendment of the Constitution Continue reading

U.S., Iraq planning offensive by Iraqi forces to reclaim territory from Islamic State

October 21 at 8:41 PM
The United States and Iraq are drawing up a campaign plan for offensive operations by Iraqi ground forces to gradually reclaim towns and cities that have been occupied by the Islamic State, according to a senior administration official.

The plan, described as methodical and time-consuming, will not begin in earnest for several months and is designed to ensure that Iraqi forces do not overextend themselves before they are capable of taking and holding territory controlled by the militants.

It may also include U.S. advisers in the field with the Iraqis, should that be recommended by American military commanders, said the official, who updated reporters on administration strategy on the condition of anonymity under rules imposed by the White House. The advisers, the official said, would not participate in combat. President Obama has said repeatedly that no U.S. ground forces would be deployed to Iraq.

With few exceptions, the Iraqi army has concentrated largely on defense and efforts to prevent the Islamic State from claiming ever-more territory since early June when the militant group took over Mosul, Iraq’s second-largest city, and began moving southward.

Despite some government gains, aided since early August by U.S. airstrikes, the militants control about one-third of Iraq, stretching from near Baghdad to the northwest, and across western Anbar province to the Syrian border.

In August, Obama also authorized airstrikes against Islamic State targets in western and northern Syria. Over the past few weeks, world attention has focused on the Syrian town of Kobane, along the Turkish border, where Islamic State forces have threatened to overrun besieged Syrian Kurdish defenders.

Plans to take back lost areas

Opinionated, Politicical views, why so vocal

How many of you have seen my posts?  They have been on political, personal and controversial items and wonder why I am so vocal? Well there is a reason for it,so let me explain a few things, not that I have to but so you know why.

I spent most of my adult life in the Army. While many of you who have served understand this, those who have never served do not. While in the service to the Gov, being it as a civilian, elected official, member of the FBI, CIA, or working for the DOD as a soldier or civilian, we DO NOT have the same rights as your everyday non-Gov employee. There are rules and guidelines we are REQUIRED to follow. One such set of rules I was under is the UCMJ Uniform Code of Military Justice. We can not while in uniform wear any sign, badge or banner endorsing any political candidate or current political official. We can not speak to the public about political issues.  Our normal voice is on heard at the polling places. But even that is many times null & void because we normally use absentee ballots, which are hardly ever counted.

Did you know this? Bet not.

So once we retire or leave Gov service we now can be more vocal. Some do not care while in the service of the Gov, some do. I have for many years cared about the issues but was kept silent. I did my best to vote when I could. Now I want YOU to be informed. So get used to this, because I WILL NOT STOP.

You can un-friend me on FB, you can not follow me on Twitter or my blog page. The choice is yours. I support your right to turn me off and not listen to anything I say. I too have un-friended and even blocked people on FB. Family members as well. I sleep very well at night and you will too.

Make it a great day my friends.

To some it is stupid to even be involved with guns. I have been around them my entire life from my dads sporting goods store in Pontiac, Illinois, pheasant hunting with him when I was a kid, to my almost 30 years in the Army. Guns are not evil, they do not assault anyone. Guns are a tool like a hammer to a carpenter. In skilled hands they can do a lot of good, to include feeding your family in Alaska to protecting your loved ones when the bad guys come knocking. They also provide many with the joys of collecting, shooting, competition and just accessorizing their guns. Most gun lovers have more  than one gun.

Guns also gave us our freedom from Great Britain long ago. Without guns we never would have won WWI or WWII and all other conflicts we have been involved with. And if you say “see guns are bad, look at the masses killed in the wars” Please look back in history long before guns and what do you see. Long before guns we did a great job of killing each other so guns are not the issue, people are.

So for those gun haters, I respect your right to hate, not want, or to never own a gun. I ask that you respect my right to own as many as I want and to own they types I want. And the NRA has had long history of teaching gun safety, range safety and protecting our rights  to own guns. The 2nd Amendment ensures we are able to keep all other rights. Do away with guns and the right to own them and see how fast you lose freedom of speech, assembly and so on.

AR-15 .223 vs Mil-Spec 5.56mm Chambers

AR-15 .223 vs Mil-Spec 5.56mm Chambers

Written by Jerry Kraus on March 13, 2014. Posted in AR-15, Firearms, Guest Posts

What is the biggest difference between AR-15 .223 and Mil-Spec 5.56mm chambers? Most people do not know; they say, “I think you can shoot both kinds of ammo through either one, right?”

Then, they buy an AR-15 and start to get more educated. Frequently, they later have regrets they did not get the AR with a chamber they wanted because they did not know what to ask.

We are going to cover the major options in AR-15 chambers, including Mil-Spec chambers and the benefits of each. I am going to limit this to .223 Rem. and 5.56mm chambers and will address ARs with other calibers, such as .308 (7.62×51 NATO), in the future.

There are three types of chambers in the M16/M4/AR-15/MSR family of rifles, but most people think there are only two.

  • The first is the Mil-Spec 5.56mm chamber, which is used in the M16 and M4.
  • The second is the .223 chamber, the most common chamber in AR-15 rifles, although you can get AR-15s with a 5.56mm chamber (why you would want that is very interesting and I go into that in detail below).
  • The third is a .223 Match chamber, which is used in AR-15s by serious competitive AR-15 shooters.

.223 Rem Chamber

First, let us cover the most common AR-15 chamber, the .223 Remington chamber, commonly called .223 Rem. or just .223. Most AR-15s also come with chrome-lined chambers and barrels. It does not make sense in the manufacturing process to only have the bore (barrel) or only the chamber chrome lined, so if you read a spec sheet that says an AR has a “chrome-lined barrel,” you safely may assume the chamber is chrome lined as well.

.223 chambers are made to SAAMI (Sporting Arms and Ammunition Manufacturers Institute) specs, not Mil-Spec, so the chambers are slightly tighter and smaller than Mil-Spec 5.56 chambers. Normally, that is not a problem since the most plentiful ammo available to civilians is .223 and not 5.56mm. But many people buy ARs with .223 chambers because they do not know any better, and then they find out there are drawbacks to ARs with .223 chambers.

Drawback #1: The Myth of Using 5.56 mm Ammo in a .223

The first drawback to .223-chambered ARs is the myth that you can shoot 5.56mm Mil-Spec ammo through it. Manufacturers that print the two calibers on rifles and in rifle manuals synonymously further perpetuate that myth.

.223 Rem vs. 5.56mm Nato

From the outside, both cartridges look the same. However, looks are deceiving.

You can shoot 5.56 through your .223 chambered AR-15—but you may regret it.

Since 5.56mm Mil-Spec ammo is loaded hotter, it has higher chamber pressure. Built to SAAMI specs, not Mil-Spec, the .223 chamber is ever so slightly smaller than a 5.56 Mil-Spec chamber. So when you shoot 5.56 in a .223 chamber, the case cannot expand as much as it would in a 5.56 chamber.

Therefore, a couple of things happen with varying frequency. The most common is that you will blow primers; that means you will have the primer blow back into the receiver, which decreases reliability as it rattles around in your receiver or on top of your magazine.

You also will experience an increase in failures to eject the spent cases because the case has expanded so much from the hotter load in the smaller chamber, and you may not get the case out of the chamber without putting a rod down the barrel. Shooting Mil-Spec ammo through a .223 chamber also may crack your upper receiver; this is less common, but still happens, and is potentially dangerous to the shooter and nearby people.

So you can shoot 5.56 through a .223 chamber, but it is highly inadvisable.

Drawback #2: Heavy Bullets

The second big drawback to a .223 chamber is shooting heavier ammo—77 grains and above. This is the preferred bullet weight for national match shooters and snipers. The problem is that those rounds are slightly longer than lighter AR ammo, so the projectile is sticking slightly farther down the barrel when you chamber the round.

The problem becomes very obvious when you try to eject the heavier bullet-weight round from the chamber without firing it. This happens because the heavier projectile is slightly longer. On occasion, the rifling grooves may grab it when you try to eject it. The result is that you pull your charging handle back and the case comes off the bullet, spilling unspent powder on the receiver (and your magazine if you did not remove it first). As it ejects, you are left with a projectile in the barrel, and you will need a cleaning rod to knock it out. Then you will have a mess, and it is not fun—especially when you are on the firing line at Camp Perry competing for the national championships.

Match Chambers

This brings us to the .223 Match chamber. Most .223 Match chambers are not chrome lined. The biggest difference in .223 Match chambers is that the rifling does not begin as quickly, so you do not have the problems referenced above with the case coming off the projectile if you try to eject a live round from the chamber. This is the preferred chambering for serious competitive shooters who like to compete at the national level, such as at the NRA National High-Power Long Range matches and CMP (Civilian Marksmanship Program) matches at Camp Perry, Ohio, each summer.

Mil-Spec Chambers

Then there are Mil-Spec 5.56mm chambers. These are always chrome lined in the M16/M4s for the military and typically are for their semi-auto AR-15 brothers. The 5.56mm Mil-Spec chamber is slightly larger than a .223 SAAMI spec chamber because the Mil-Spec ammo is loaded hotter and has higher chamber pressures.

Benefit #1: Use Both .223 and 5.56 Ammo

So the supreme benefit of 5.56 chambers is that you can shoot .223 ammo and 5.56 out of a 5.56 chamber without reliability or safety concerns. That gives you the flexibility to take advantage of the great military surplus ammo bargains when they are available.

The downside is that, at greater distances, some shooters think they will see a decrease in accuracy shooting .223 ammo though a 5.56 chamber because the chamber is ever so slightly larger.

I think that is arguable. I know what you are thinking: “How much decrease in accuracy?” and “At what distances does it make a difference?”

I believe that 95% of shooters will not see a measurable difference, except at extreme distances for which they may not have the training to shoot effectively anyway. Remember, when it comes to shooting, most of the time “It’s the Indian, not the arrow.” Remember, I am talking about .223 ammo through a 5.56 chamber only—not 5.56 through a 5.56 chamber.

Benefit #2: The 5.56mm Chamber Has a Slightly Longer Throat

The second benefit of a 5.56mm chamber is that it also has a slightly longer throat/free bore area. In simpler English, that means that there is more space between the projectile and the rifling. Remember when I explained what happens when you try to eject a live round when it is 77 grains or above from a .223 chamber (not a .223 Match chamber)? Well that does not happen with 5.56mm chambers because of the longer throat.

Benefit #3: Availability of Ammo

The third benefit of having a 5.56mm chamber on your AR is a little paranoid, but not unfounded, although I pray it never happens. Some of my prepper fans out there believe there may be martial law one day in America, which would include an attempted disarmament of Americans.5.56 NATO Ammunition

That is what Hitler did, so it is not unimaginable.

In any case, nobody can argue that, in an extended time under martial law, you might only be able to get ammo by stealing it off the back of a Humvee—if you do not get shot trying to in the first place. I would want an AR-15 with a 5.56mm chamber so you can shoot military ammo through it without added potential reliability problems, and remember, you will still be able to shoot .223 ammo as well.

There is a way to ream out a .223 chamber and make it 5.56mm. I have heard that it is easy, although I have never done it. You might be able to find the reamer, but if I wanted that, I would have it done by a reputable gunsmith.

What should I buy?

So now you may be thinking, “This is really confusing; just tell me what I should get.”

So if I could only afford one AR, I would get one with a 5.56mm chamber.

I also would not trust the labeling on the spec sheet on the manufacturer’s website or even in the owner’s manual that any AR-15 is 5.56mm or .223/5.56mm. I have tested ARs lately that claim, in writing, .223/5.56mm on their website spec sheets and in the owner’s manual that came with the AR. When I called the manufacturer and asked if the chamber is 5.56mm or is it .223, the manufacturer tech help person dismissively told me it is both.

I stuck to my guns (forgive the pun) and said, “It can’t be both; either the chamber is SAAMI spec .223 Rem. or the chamber is Mil-Spec 5.56mm; which is it?”

Then, from one USA manufacturer, I received the response, “Well, it’s a .223 chamber, but you can shoot both through it.” Another USA manufacturer told me, “I can’t put you through to a tech person, but you can email me, and I will forward your email.”

I did email that customer-service person who could not answer my question, and I confirmed receipt of my email and that the rep forwarded it to the “appropriate person.” That was more than a week ago as of the time I am writing this, and still I have had no response. I will not own or recommend any of their ARs for the foreseeable future.

Until next time, I will share with you what Ron Mida, one of my shooting mentors always told me, “Shoot Straight!”

How did we get here – part three (final)

In closing I was to say that none of these changes will provide immediate turn around and I seriously doubt people well ever do them but keep reading.

Long ago  we used to sit as a family at the supper table. Some said a prayer before the meal, some did not. Most homes had a mother and a father. The father worked and the mother did once the kids were in school. You respected your parents because to not do so meant the belt and there was no such thing as a time out. Were all these thing perfect? Nope but that was the way it was overall. Parents provided you with what you NEEDED, not what you wanted. Every time you went to the store you did not get a toy or a treat, and Christmas was limited so what you did get was “greatly” appreciated.

As time went on mothers & fathers found it easier to divorce. Children had single parents more and more. We stopped eating at the table as a family and went to McDonald’s and the fast food chains. We took prayer out of our homes and the schools as not to offend others, took the flags downs and the 10 Commandments were removed from almost everywhere.

Mothers and fathers sent their kids off to babysitters so they could drink, go out on the towns, do drugs and party till they puked. They came home drunk and the children got to see their shining examples. (Never saw that in my parents). Parents told their kids not to smoke or drink or do drugs but what they saw was the total opposite.

We quit looking at the rich guy in town as someone to emulate and started to look at him (or her) as someone to loathe and despise. Even our Government wants those who have worked hard to take what they earned and give it to those who have little or nothing. Many of these well to do actually do give to charities and help many in need. But Gov directed sharing is theft, pure and simple. So what do we do now?

A. Lead by example (your children are not stupid, they see your hypocrisy)

B. Eat supper as a family at the table and talk to each other. NOTE: Texting & email is NOT talking.

C. Get prayer back in your life, your home, your schools along with the 10 Commandments

D. Reestablish morals, integrity, duty, honor and help you fellow human being.

E. Act as if Jesus is looking over your shoulder all the time.

NOTE: You can add so much more. Will all these things change us overnight and make us better. NOPE. But we did not get here over night. It took many years. Can you or I change the world? YES We can each do our part to change ourselves, our manner, our actions and eventually, over time if it were to spread, we may be able to change our part of the world. Hopeless to even try? What have got to lose by trying. And you have everything to gain even if you only succeed in your own life and the life of your family. And if you only die with the personal satisfaction that you did your best, then you succeeded.

How did we get here – over time. How will we get there – again over time.

Obama’s America

Obama is the biggest divider I have ever seen at POTUS. Everybody gets and equal shot at success. We are all born the same, naked and with nothing. We all have the opportunity to achieve wealth, greatness, or to fall flat on our faces and do nothing. He talked about income inequality. What does he want from us. Does he want you to give what you worked for to someone else because you busted your ass, got an education, a trade, or just worked your way up the chain in some company and you’re doing well now? I say HELL NO. I do not want the Bill Gates or Donald Trump of the world to give me money they earned to make my life better. They earned that money, not me. What the hell have we become as a people? I know people in our own family that say well the Papa Johns guy needs to give some to others. He did – dumb asses. He built a franchise that allowed others to get into business on their own and hire others who can work their way up. But if they do not have the drive to work their way up, hell no they do not get anything.

As far as min wage. Raising it destroys jobs, always has. If an employer has 50 workers and now has to pay them $2.35 more per hour that will cost him $4700 per week for those 50 employees. That = $244,400 per year. So to make that up an employer who does not have a huge profit margin will not eliminate 10 employees to save $48,880. Then some say, raise your prices for your products. Then you have the chance of losing customers or some other business beats you out because their cost is better. So raising the min wage does not always work that way you think. Plus if your working at a min wage job, you will normally have the drive in you to do better and work your way up to better & better paying jobs. Unless you are satisfied with min wage jobs and if so, fine.

I DID NOT watch the SOTU address. I have had all I can stand of this wanna be dictator. He is nothing more than a community organizer, who speaks really well and tell people what they want to hear, along with being Santa Clause to so many. He does not take the oath seriously, nor the Constitution. He says over and over he will do what he wants. Our Gov was never designed that way. And for all of you who support him and want it that way. Tell you what. Let him do what he wants. But when the next POTUS gets into office and he is a TEA PARTY CONSERVATIVE, we get to do the same thing and YOU can not say one damn word. We both know that ain’t gonna happen.

I can not take much more of this guy. I for one do not wish him any harm and will continue to pray for him. Not that he succeeds or gets all he wants, but that God wakes him up to the fact that he took an oath and that he is not The King of America but he is The President of the United States of America. And we have 50 states.

State of the Union Address – IMO

My fellow countrymen & women. As the President of the United States this is my State of the Union Address. These are to tell the American people where we stand as a nation (or Union). Most of the past Presidents have all told you what you wanted to hear. I however am going to for once in your life tell you the truth, because as American I know you can handle it. This will be short.

The State of the Union is bad. We are $17 Trillion in debt. The housing markets and economy have not rebounded as we had homes. Our children are going to college, spending close to $50 to $150 thousand in debt for jobs that are not there. Some will never be able to repay these debts. We are hemorrhaging money to countries that hate us. The Federal Government has taken on too much over the past 75 years and we must reverse course. There is huge overspending on anything the Gov buys, money does not get where it needs to and taxes & regulations have brought the economic train to a halt. The Fed Gov has tried and failed to regulated all aspects of your lives. So my next 3 years on office are going to be very rough on everyone, but the end result will make the United States a beacon of hope for the world once again.

Step 1 is we will no longer send any aid to any country except Israel. If you want any aid, you will be required to provide some sort of goods or services to the USA that we can actually use. This will be steel, oil, natural resources.

Step 2 We will dismantle and cease all operations in the Dept of Education and send it back to the states to manage, track and oversee. All Dept of Education employees will be given one year to apply for any current opening in Gov service or to transfer to the private sector.

Step 3 The Supreme Court will NO LONGER deal with the institution of marriage and the legality of it. That is not part of what the Fed Gov does. That will be turned back to the states to decide.

Step 4 We will required the Congress & House to meet for 6 month out of the year ONLY. The rest of the time you will work in the civilian sector of your represented area and will live, work and converse with your constituents. Your salary will be cut down to the same pay as a E-5 Sergeant in the Untied States Army. You will have a term limit of TWO TERMS only. NO EXCEPTIONS. Once your terms are completed you can not become a lobbyist for any civilian company or Gov contractors.

Step 5 All soldiers will be returned to the United States and will be stationed on the border between the USA and Mexico. We will secure the borders. If you enter the USA illegally you will be sent back immediately upon the first offense. The second offense you will be jailed for 1 year. The 3rd offense will face 5 years. The jail will be the exact type used in Sheriff Arpio system in Arizona. No luxuries. They will be tents, have chain gangs and you will eat a minimal American diet.

Step 6. If we ever go to war with anyone we will go to win, win quickly and the only outcome will be total and unconditional surrender. Afterwards we will not nation build or rebuild your country.

Step 7. FEMA will be abolished along with the TSA. The USPS and AMTRAK will receive NO Federal funds. They will either sink or swim on their own.

Step 8 The Federal tax code will be rewritten. Taxes will be 10% for anyone making over $75K per year. No loopholes, no deductions.

Step 9 The Food & drug admin will stop all operations except food safety. If you want to drink a 32oz soda, so be it. If you eat so much that you can’t move out of your house or work or even wipe you own ass because you’re on the MY 1000lb LIFE SPECIAL you will also not get welfare, food stamps or SS Disability.

Step 10 The Fed Gov is now out of the babysitting job. We will go back to the constitution and to 10 Amendment and follow it.

OK – I think you get the point.Would this work, nope because all the people getting kickbacks, presents from Santa (big Gov) would throw a fit.

How the Debt Snowball Method Works – daveramsey.com – Mozilla Firefox

When you were a kid rolling a snowball in the backyard, the best way to do it was to pack some snow into a tight ball, then start rolling it through the yard. Your snowball would become a snow boulder much quicker than it would if you just built it up by hand. That’s exactly how the debt snowball method works. MAGPUL INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR RELOCATION Company Is Moving Operations to Wyoming and Texas

Later, Colorado haters: Magpul announces move to Wyoming and Texas

Magpul warned anti-liberty Colorado Democrats in advance that if they passed citizen control laws, that the company was going to take their jobs and taxes elsewhere. The anti-liberty Democrats passed a raft of gun control legislation anyway, and so Magpul is making good on their promise to leave.

From the press release:

Company Is Moving Operations to Wyoming and Texas

Magpul Industries announced today that it is relocating its operations to Wyoming and Texas.

The company is relocating manufacturing, distribution and shipping operations to Cheyenne, Wyoming. Magpul is leasing a 58,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility during the construction of a 100,000 square foot build-to-suit facility in the Cheyenne Business Parkway. The Wyoming relocation is being completed with support from Governor Matt Mead, the Wyoming Business Council and Cheyenne LEADS.

Magpul is moving its corporate headquarters to Texas. Three North Central Texas sites are under final consideration, and the transition to the Texas headquarters will begin as soon as the facility is selected. The Texas relocation is being accomplished with support from Governor Rick Perry and the Texas Economic Development Corporation.

“Magpul made the decision to relocate in March 2013 and has proceeded on an aggressive but deliberate path” says Doug Smith, Chief Operating Officer for Magpul Industries. “These dual moves will be carried out in a manner that ensures our operations and supply chain will not be interrupted and our loyal customers will not be affected.”

The company began a nationwide search for a new base of operations after legislation was enacted in Colorado that dramatically limits the sale of firearms accessories – the core of Magpul’s business. Magpul plans on initially transitioning 92% of its current workforce outside of Colorado within 12-16 months and will maintain only limited operations in Colorado.

“Moving operations to states that support our culture of individual liberties and personal responsibility is important,” says Richard Fitzpatrick, Chief Executive Officer for Magpul Industries. “This relocation will also improve business operations and logistics as we utilize the strengths of Texas and Wyoming in our expansion.”

That is their option to do so and I support it. If you vote people into the leadership for your states that are against the 2nd Amendment, freedoms, free market, etc they your state may lose jobs, manufacturing and tax revenue. For states like Wyoming and Texas will continue to thrive. It is called the FREE MARKET SYSTEM and one day the Democrats, Socialist & Communist “may” wake up, but probably not.

Hopefully the people” will wake up in this country and understand that people like Obama are NOT looking out for you. He and many others are getting you to rely on the Gov for EVERYTHING. Then one day he can pull the plug and you will be a slave to the Gov. You got to start really thinking about how thing work before you we are entrapped and totally dependent on the Gov. How many people do you know that if the handouts STOPPED would be totally screwed for place to live, food, water, clothing, medical care. Start thinking for yourself and stop just going with the flow in 2014
